ZINGLER, MARVIN M. of Shawano, WI Born to eternal life February 17, 2013, age 85. Beloved husband of Mary Ann (nee Carstens) for 65 years died peacefully at home with family.

Preceded in death by his mother, Lillian (nee Troy) and father, Herbert. Dear brother of the late Ruth (the late Howard) Fitzpatrick and the late Herbert Jr. (Florence). Dear brother-in-law of the late Carl (Terry) Carstens. Loving father of the late Karen Church, Marvin Jr. (the late Barbara), Lianne (the late Robert) Dobrinska, Glenn (Linda), and Warren (Kim). Further survived by 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Marvin was an Army Airborne WWII veteran, retired WI Bell employee with 41 years of service, served 10 years on the South Milwaukee School Board, and was a member of the 49rs Square Dance Club.

Memorial services will be held at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church (1314 E. Rawson, South Milwaukee) on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at 3:00 p.m. Family and friends may call at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.

Marvin’s wonderful laugh and love of life will be missed dearly.
