JANE KONIECZNY (LASEK), 85, of Shawano WI passed away on Saturday evening February 16, 2013, at the Cottages on Golden Pond memory care unit in Shawano. Jane is the daughter of the late Larry and Irene Lasek, sister of the late Arline Lasek, wife of the late Fred Konieczny and loved mother of Sister Cindy Konieczny-Kaye, RSM. Jane will be missed by loving friends Ingrid Bradford and Stephanie Pryor. Also survived by sister-in-law, Marie (late Robert) Konieczny. Jane was an employee at Alverno College, Milwaukee, in the duplicating department and a member of the Woman’s Auxiliary of the American Legion Post in Cecil. Many thanks to all at the Cottages on Golden Pond for their compassionate care and for offering Jane a lovely home during her senior years. Special thanks to Theda Care at Home Hospice, nurse Betsy Zernicke, and all who offered loving care and support to Jane in her final months. Private services will be held for Jane with burial at sea in Santa Cruz, California. In lieu of flowers, donations to Theda Care at Home Hospice are appreciated.
